Patient appointments

  • For the initial period, a session is usually scheduled once a week, depending on the diagnosis and treatment agreed upon. Later in the treatment you may only need a session every 6 months.
  • Initial assessment is usually an hour.
  • Subsequent sessions, depending on the problem, are between 30-50 minutes.
  • Medicare rebates are available and you will need to contribute to the payment as bulk billing is not available.

More information about Matthew

Matthew completed his medical training in 2001 at the University of Sydney. He has a varied training experience including General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychiatry of Old Age, Forensic Psychiatry, Drug and Alcohol as well as research at the Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety Disorders (CRUfAD) at St Vincents Hospital, Darlinghurst with Prof Gavin Andrews.

Currently Matthew works as Staff Specialist: The Sutherland Hospital, Caringbah and as Visiting Medical Officer at Wesley Private Hospital, Kogarah, and Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
