More information about Alison
Hi, my name is Alison Linn and I have been in clinical practice since
1990 in the Inner West . I became a graduate osteopath in 1987 and in
1999 completed a post graduate certificate in TCM (acupuncture needling
techniques , moxa, cupping Chinese Herbs ) for musculoskeletal complaints .
My approach is to tailor patient treatment according to the presenting
condition, my clinical experience, plus patient needs. I put emphasis
on self management to enable people to better manage their condition in a
more effective and informed way.
I prefer not to specialise as that limits the broader clinical advantage
and experience I gain from treating a wide range of issues and
people. However, I have particular skills and interests in: breathing
dysfunction, voice complaints, knees, as well as spinal issues.
I have been a keen sportswoman all my life and I have ongoing, active
experience and interest in the management of injuries in the following
sports: Dragon Boating, Outrigging, windsurfing, kayaking, horse
riding, yoga, competitive running ( track, middle distance and ultra
distance), swimming and gym work.
